Real Life Options Supports Young People at ASN Connect 2026 Pilot Event
Tuesday 26 May, 2026Real Life Options recently attended the pilot event for ASN Connect 2026 at the City of Glasgow College, joining organisations from across Scotland in supporting young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN) as they explore future opportunities and pathways.
Hosted collaboratively by Developing the Young Workforce Glasgow and City of Glasgow College, the event brought together a range of organisations including the BBC, NSPCC and Impact Arts, all with a shared goal of helping young people access information, build confidence and consider what their future could look like.
Throughout the day, the Real Life Options team spoke with young people and attendees about independence, future aspirations and the support available to help them achieve their goals. Conversations focused on creating awareness, answering questions and encouraging young people to think positively about the opportunities available to them.
The event created an inclusive and welcoming space where young people could engage with organisations, gain valuable information and begin exploring the next steps in their journey. It also highlighted the importance of collaboration in creating meaningful opportunities and ensuring young people feel supported as they plan for the future.
ASN Connect 2026 marks an encouraging step towards greater inclusion and accessibility, helping young people with Additional Support Needs build confidence and connect with organisations that can support them along the way.
Real Life Options was proud to be part of the pilot event and looks forward to seeing ASN Connect continue to grow and create positive opportunities in the future.
