Our Impact
At Real Life Options we understand the importance of having easy access to information when making decisions around social support and care. To help you make an informed choice, we provide a range of information detailing how the charity operates and performs in order to be as transparent and helpful as possible.
At Real Life Options we continuously collate information and feedback using consultations, surveys and internal reporting. This process improves our understanding of how we are performing and allows us to continually improve the way we deliver support and transform our working environments for the better.

What the People we Support Say
Through Support Plan reviews we routinely ask the people we support for their feedback which is collated into an Easy Read report. Honest feedback from the people we support is vital for us to continually improve and ‘get it right’ in delivering excellent support and care.

The findings and next steps of our last organisation-wide staff survey are presented in our ‘Have Your Say’ document. Of those surveyed, 89% told us that their work gives them a personal sense of achievement and over two thirds of our staff would recommend Real Life Options as a good place to work. What the Regulators say
In England and Scotland, Real Life Options is regulated by the independent regulator of health and social care. In England, this is the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and in Scotland the Care Inspectorate. Their ratings provide you with a clear statement on the quality of the support and care we provide. Their reports provide up-to-date information about registered services, inspection reports, ratings or grades and provide additional insights from inspectors, individuals and family members.
In England, 95% of our services are rated good or above by the CQC. In Scotland, 93% of our services are rated good or above by the Care Inspectorate.
