Eyes on the prize
Thursday 2 April, 2015On the 26th March, representatives from RLO and Insane Logic attended the shortlisting day for the National 
Learning Disability Awards 2015. We have been nominated for the Breaking Down Barriers Award, which is recognition of our close and highly successful work with Insane Logic, to improve communication and learning opportunities for the people we support, using My ChoicePad technology. My ChoicePad, now rolling out across all RLO Divisions, is a language development platform for mobile tablets. It uses symbols and signs to reinforce language and is designed to help those people with communication difficulties.
The awards take place on the 15th May – we’ll tell you more as we learn more. Fingers crossed!
