My first trip to the wrestling

Tristen, a person we support from Glasgow, writes about his recent exciting WWE trip.

Hi, my name is Tristen Rankine and I am going to tell you about my first trip away. It all started in May when I booked my tickets to go and watch WWE in Glasgow.  I was excited about this as I love to watch WWE on TV but to see it live – wow!!

The days started going faster and the night before I could hardly sleep.  I was really excited.  I packed my bag as I was staying my first night away in a hotel and I would get a long lie!!

I woke up even more excited and waited for my support worker Michael who was going with me.  I got ready and we got the bus to Glasgow.  We had lunch and a wander about some shops then went for a drink before getting a taxi to the hotel.  I was getting more and more excited as I was getting closer to the event.

I got ready at the hotel, after unpacking my stuff, and went for dinner at a buffet place – it was the best food I have had!  I then walked to the Hydro for the WWE.  As I arrived I bought myself a John Cena t-shirt and a programme, and then took my seat. I had a good view of the ring and I could not stop smiling!  It started and all my favourite WWE superstars came out to fight- I really like Dean Ambrose, he is cool!  As it finished  I was so happy I had seen them. I then went back to the hotel to relax.

I hope you enjoyed my story as much as I enjoyed my first trip away.
