A visit from BBC Radio Tees

Last week, our service in Stockton-on-Tees had a visit from Gary Philipson, Radio Presenter at BBC Radio Tees.

Bev, whose daughter has been supported by Real Life Options for 20 years contacted BBC Radio Tees to give thanks to staff at the service for all the fantastic work they do. Bev say’s, “I listen to the radio a lot and Gary always covers nice stories. I’m really happy with my daughter being at the service. They’re always looking for nice things to do and always have fab decorations. I pulled up and the Halloween decorations we’re fantastic. I thought they deserved to be on the radio to show a bit of recognition and praise for their hard work”.

Staff at the service enjoyed talking with Gary about the work they do, and of course, all things Halloween, showcasing their fantastic Halloween display. In true Halloween style, staff at the service had put a lot of time and effort into decorating the service for people we support to enjoy.

Gary says, “What a wonderful, wonderful set of staff there. That’s just one care home in our part of the world that is just going above and beyond to make life the best it can be for people.”
