Building our Community Connections

Hello Everyone. We are Helen and William and we are supported by Real Life Options in West Lothian. We enjoy going out and connecting with our wider community. Once a week, we go to a local farm restaurant for morning tea and a nice piece of toast and jam, or sometimes a big bowl of custard as an alternative.  We have developed a great relationship with Elaine who works there. She has got to know us really well and knows what we like and enjoy. When we arrive at the restaurant, our new friend Elaine is always there to greet us with a big, warm, friendly smile. Elaine has everything lined up at the bar ready for us, which is fantastic as it makes it much easier for us to get settled and tuck in straight away. Thank you Elaine for helping us feel connected and valued in our local community.
