Real Life Options Group Launches 2024 Safeguarding Report

The Real Life Options Group is proud to announce the release of its Corporate Safeguarding Annual Report for 2024.

This comprehensive document highlights the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding governance over the past year. The Safeguarding Group has played a crucial role in reviewing, monitoring, and developing effective preventative strategies to ensure that the individuals we support can live their lives free from abuse or neglect.

Over the last 12 months, we have:

Reviewed our internal processes, revamping our weekly and quarterly safeguarding meetings to ensure they remain effective and transparent.
Implemented a new referral and assessment process to ensure that supported individuals who are new to our organisation transition in a manner that promotes their safety and well-being at all times.
Further developed our ‘My Voice’ Initiative to ensure our supported individuals continue to be a pivotal influence in everything we do as an organisation.
Actively advanced our Restraint Reduction Strategy in close collaboration with stakeholders to empower the individuals we support.
Remained dedicated to working with all stakeholders to maintain the health and well-being of our workforce. We are delighted to report that 91% of the individuals we support said they always feel supported to feel safe, a testament to all Real Life Option’s teams hard work.
