Inspiring Leaders
Tuesday 26 May, 2015Inspiring Leaders is atraining programme delivered in conjunction with the National Skills Academy and Skills for Care. Training is designed to help develop staff who have the potential to be the leaders of the future. Nine members of staff participated and completed the course.
The course consisted of four modules including – ‘Myself as a leader’, ‘The people side of leadership’, ‘Steering not rowing’ and ‘Person–centred outcomes’. Participants will now be able to go on and complete an ILM Leadership and Management qualification.
The course was delivered via four classroom based sessions and 4 virtual classroom sessions, which was a first for RLO. Learning and Development Manager, Mike Trubshaw said “It’s all part of RLO’s plan to provide training in management and leadership for all staff, assisting them to ensure continued delivery of high standards of service for the people we support.”
