Jean Trench Appointed as Real Life Options Group New CEO
Tuesday 20 May, 2025Real Life Options Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean Trench as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the resignation of David Sargent.

Jean brings with her a wealth of experience in the social care sector, having worked in senior leadership roles for many years and serving most recently as Deputy CEO of Real Life Options Group. Throughout her career, Jean has demonstrated a deep commitment to delivering person-centered support and improving the lives of people with learning and physical disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Jean Trench will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer of Real Life Options Group with immediate effect. While David Sargent will remain in post until the autumn, Jean will begin her CEO responsibilities now, with David fully supporting her during the handover to ensure a smooth and well-managed transition.
