My Voice – My Wellbeing Survey Results

We are delighted to share the results of our latest My Voice Survey, ‘My Wellbeing – Feeling Safe.’

Across 40 services, 202 people we support responded to the survey providing us with the highest response rate to date on any of our previous My Voice Surveys.

Real Life Options believe that everyone should have the opportunity to use their own voice. This survey, which focused on feeling safe is linked to ‘My Wellbeing’ on the Real Life Options Model of Support and was created with the aim to provide us with a greater understanding of people’s thoughts and opinions around feeling safe.

Key areas of strength concluded that people we support are supported to recognise harm, with 92% of people saying if they wanted to complain about the support they receive, they would know who to contact. A further 85% of people we support said they are supported to feel safe.

Despite the various strengths, the survey found there is still opportunity to ensure people we support are supported to know how to keep other people safe.

We are grateful to everyone who completed the My Voice survey. As an organisation, we are always learning new ways to improve and feedback from the My Voice survey’s give us insight into what we do well and what can be improved.
