Senior Leadership Team Changes

Senior Leadership Team Changes

Senior Leadership Team Changes

Tuesday 24 March, 2020

We are fast approaching the end of another successful year for the Real Life Options Group, which now includes 1st Homecare and Montana Homecare in addition to our Real Life Options services in England and Scotland. The Senior Leadership Team and the Board have taken the opportunity to reflect on our strategic priorities and how these will shape the business to put us in the best possible position to achieve our goals.

With that in mind, we have decided to make the following changes to the Senior Leadership Team with the aim of creating a more diverse team, with clearer accountabilities. The new positions will help to bring a wider range of different perspectives and skills which will be valuable in informing our future direction and ensuring that we continue to deliver an excellent level of support to people across the UK. We are delighted to announce the following appointments which will be taking place with immediate effect:

Andrea Holden has been appointed as Director of Human Resources. She will be accountable for the RLO group people proposition and oversee the full HR team, which includes the Employee Support Centre and Talent Development and the Business Partnering team.

Paul Cusworth has been appointed as Director of Digital and Enablement. He will continue to focus on group systems, but will also be responsible for organisation efficiency and will be the custodian of the change transformation plan going forward.

Mario Caswell has been appointed as the Group Head of Real Life Options Homecare. This will incorporate leadership responsibilities for 1st Homecare and Montana Homecare in addition to all future activity under the Real Life Options Homecare brand. In addition to his new role, Mario will also continue to oversee the Proposition Development and Marketing and Communications team.

In addition to these new appointments, the Specialist Support and Development team led by Tracey Connelly will now also have the added benefit of incorporating all of the Quality Assurance Partners. This change will ensure that we can provide effective coordinated support to the operational teams for the benefit of the people we support.
