The generosity of Piper Bravo
Wednesday 22 July, 2015Workers on the Piper Bravo oil platform have been incredibly generous in their support of their fellow worker, Mr Till. Mr Till recently handed over a cheque for £1,010 to RLO staff from a sponsored head shave earlier in the year. This is the third occasion Mr Till and his colleagues have been kind enough to donate money to RLO services.
RLO supports Mr Till’s son Michael at Day Services in West Fife. Previous donations from Mr Till and his colleagues have made a real difference to the people we support in Fife. On this occasion, the money will be used to develop the sensory room.
Service Manager, Susan Green said: “we are thrilled by the generosity of Mr Till and his colleagues on Piper Bravo. We really can’t thank them enough. We will be using the money to buy new equipment for the sensory room. There are so many things we could do, but we’re not sure yet what’s best for everyone. We are talking and planning with people we support and their families to make sure we have their ideas. It’s only right that it’s their choice how the sensory room develops.”
